Should i buy a cadillac cts 04 or a 07 bmw 3 series? i save 5 grand buying the cadillac?

the bmw would be 5 grand more than the cadillac.. which one should i get?? im paying straight cash no loan.. and which is more reliable if i buy the bmw i will only have some money for repairs i dont want to spend all my money on bmw parts. if i buy the cadillac the parts are cheaper and i save 5 grand that i can put towards rims or something. is cadillac reliable?? which one will look better

well if i were you...i would look at the 2008 honda accord V6 EX-L with Nav....you are going to spend less and have a much better car...but out of those two....no doubt buy the BMW

Either you are getting ripped off on the Cadillac, or it is the CTS-V version. Reliability is iffy, build quality is not up to BMW specs and that motor (CTS-v) tends to rip up the transmission and driveline (bad axle hop).

The BMW probably still has some warranty on it, as well as total car care all the way thru 50k miles. It will not be as fast, but is built better and is a lot more refined. They also hold their value a lot better.

I would do the BMW, or perhaps even look at an Infiniti M35/M45 as a good compromise vehicle (may still be too expensive though). Maybe even hold out for an 05/06 BMW with some warranty and a bigger motor and more options.
I wouldnt buy that Cadillac. There are some quality issues on the 1st Gen CTS's. I would go with the BMW, it's nicer, better handling, and its a chick magnet. If you get a BMW you wont have to buy rims.
