if you backed into a BMW in a parking lot and had recieved the owners contact information (work number) what would be your course of action and what would you say to him

Im sorry, but I hit your car. I have reported ity to my Inssurance company,, this is there number, call them, and it will be taken care off. Again, I am very sorry.
You can contact the owner directly and apologize and provide your insurance info, or contact your insurance carrier directly and have them contact the owner of the car you hit.
