Toggle the OBC/D on your steering column or wherever else it is located to get to the clock. Then toggle the button on you cluster panel in front of you-not the trip reset one, the other one. That should do it. The same process may be followed for other units of measurement on your display. Well thats how its done on an e46. Hope it works for you.

Even if you bought the car used, a good dealership will give you the manual.

Or you can play with the OBD controls. You will eventually see an adjustment for the clock.
