Reset Clock on 2000 BMW 323i?

Recently had to change out the battery and the clock blanked out.. how do I reset the clock on a 2000 model BMW 323i We do not have the book for the radio and the car manual says to look at it. Also will this reset the control setting for the clock. (the area where the MPG, temp and all that is that you can see when you press the button on the blinker shift handle).. First, with the key turned to the first position only, and the engine is not on...

There are 2 stalks protruding from your dashboard. The one to the right is the one which sets the clock.

Turn this stalk to the right to move the time forward, and to the left to move the time backward
