This always happens: I am driving in my car (BMW) and I'm on the phone through Bluetooth hands free. If I get a second call - even if I don't answer it - the first call automatically disconnects! This has happened on business calls and is very frustrating. The dealer told me it had something to do with my AT%26T/Cingular service. Any ideas on what to do/workaround?

I'm assuming the Bluetooth is built in to the car and your phone is handheld?
It sounds like an issue related to Call Waiting, where for some reason, the car's Bluetooth and your Cingular phone aren't communicating correctly. Check the Call Waiting settings on your phone, and also look for anything like Auto Answer on the Bluetooth side.Disable these features and see whether that helps.

You own a BMW. So why does the car have a problem. It's an expensive luxary car right where you spent 2 times more then an average person normally spends on a car. So why should there be a problem???? You have money right???? Hire an eng to fix it.
Oh lord you should have just choked on your blue tooth !
Many phone don't work for BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, etc. You need to find the compatible phone so it will work. You can contact your local BMW dealer to find out which cell phones are compatible with your BMW. You can try looking in myworldphone.com
