We are currantly stationed in Germany. We have gotten orders to return to the states on short notice. Does anyone know of a dealer that will buy our BMW back from us? I've heard on one in wurzburg but don't know the name. We are located 30 min north of frankfurt.

HI, to sell a car such BMW in Germany is quite easy, you can advertise your car at www.mobile.de, www.wetterauer-zeitung.de or bring it to the car dealer next to you, as far as i know you will find a lot of Car dealers in north of Frankfurt such as in Karben, Friedberg or Bad Homburg therefore you don't need to drive extra to Wuerzburg.

This is not possible as a direct plug in, because of the new ipod technology. But you can transmit through a cassette adapter (although you probably don't have a cassete deck) or you can us an FM modulator, available at 90% of electronics stores, including walmart. Don't be surprised though, when the quality from the modulator is horrible. SOME factory stereos after '99 actually do have an RCA input in the back, but this is very rare. If you find that you do have one, an 1/8" stereo plug to RCA adapter would do the trick. I recomend getting an aftermarket stereo from Pioneer or Sony though. They're not that much. There are many units that will accomplish this task. Not much to it, most will plug into the cigarette lighter and transmit an FM radio frequency to your stereo. Circut city has one called a roadtrip that couldn't be easier to use. The sound quality is not going to be good with any of these units though. If you like sound quality ditch your factory deck and get a pioneer with an ipod adapter.

Difference between 2002-2004 BMW 3Ci-series?

What is the difference between BMW models, specifically, the 330ci, from years 2002-2003-2004. I know from 03-04 the headlights got the angel eyes and the tailights were revamped, but I didn't see any noticeable difference between 2002 and 2003. Are there any modifications in the body measurements and lengths?

Other than that there were some minor changes option-wise: a DVD-based navigation system was made available for the first time in the '03 model (no, it's not iDrive or anything), and Sirius radio debuted for '04. I know exactly what you are talking about. I love my moms convertible but i hate my hair after getting in it. We bought a screen that connects across the back of the 2 seats and i find it really helps with the wind. And if you cant get one, just wear your hair up. The people that are saying you are spoiled are just jealous that you have a convertible. Dont let em' get to ya.
Did daddy buy the car for you? If so, just have him buy you a different car that won't mess up your hair while driving down the freeway. I am guessing you are spoiled beyond belief and you get what you want, because you are daddy's little girl. Is this your only worry in life??? Sad.....

What kind of a Mechanic is needed for replacing BMW 325 brakes?

I am looking for a mechanic in the Seattle area who can replace my BMW 325 brakes - rotors, pads, sensor. I have the parts - just need the job done.

There are several who say they can do the job and rates range from $25/hr - $95/hr! Thats a wide range.

My questions :

Is the brake replacement job on a BMW very special? or can any mechanic who does brakes for other cars also do it for the BMW?

What are the things I should be careful about? So what kind of a mechanic should I go for?

You can spend nothing on one and do it your-self if you have and take the time to just do it..... Not very complicated if you want to try the project yourself.. 03 350z vs 02 bmw 325ci?

i am looking to buy a car and ended up deciding between the two. 03 nissan 350z manual with 89k miles or a 02 bmw 325ci automatic with 122k miles. the difference is only 4,000$. i don't know which one to get. any opinions would help. which one would you pick?

I have a 2005 Nissan 350Z and love it! I'd AVOID the BMW like the bubonic plague, you'll have repair costs that will bring a man to tears.

I never owned a BMW, but I've heard PLENTY of horror stories...

My ONLY concern is that the 2003 is a "first year 350Z" and it did have it's share of minor problems (ALL First year cars have some issues usually)...i.e. tire feathering (premature tire wear, caused by factory wheel alignment issues)....If you can ante up a little extra for an '04 Z, I'd suggest THAT instead...IF not , go for the '03 Z.

Get the 03 Nissan it's a way better car then the BMW.First off it brings Nissan 3.5v6 engine which is one of the top ten engines in the world for like 13 or 14 years in a row now.There is also alot more aftermarket parts available for it and if you have to do any repairs it will be way cheaper then a BMW.My brother had a 3 series and got rid of it after they told him how expensive it was to just change the spark plugs and wires on it I think it was almost a grand.So get the 350z its the better choice and oh yeah the ladies like it too.hope this helps

Both great cars, cost of ownership and maintaince on the nissan will be much less, also insurance. If you want i guess it depends on wanting a pure sports care (350Z) or a sporty-luxury car. Girls love bimmers though trust me.
I would go with the nissan for many reasons, i used to own a bmw 323i back in 2001 and the car was great untill i started having mechanical problems with it then it started hurting my pockets pretty badly. The nissan 350z with 89k miles will last you a very long time with little or no mechanical problems, Ive owned mine since 2003 and i love my car its the best car ive owned and it still turns lots of heads not to mention the great acceleration and thousands of after market mods at cheap prices. Get the nissan Dont be a fool
